Web design and front-end development

In March '06 I moved to VNU Business Media Europe as a web designer. In early '07 the company was broken up and the UK arm acquired by Incisive Media. I have had the chance to work on redesigns for new acquisitions such as Silicon.fr and The Inquirer, as well as innovative new products such as Ajax portal homepage ITespresso or vertical IT search engine Techhound and most recently Accountancy Age.

Before working for VNU I worked as a web designer for Tesco.com one of the largest retail sites in Europe, where I was involved in the maintenance and development of the site.

Previous to Tesco.com I worked as the graphic designer for the University of Leicester Students’ Union, maintaining leicesterstudent.org and producing marketing materials for the Union. I also worked as a freelance web designer for OncampusUK, designing sites for other student unions.
